Freie OSM GPS Karten

The installation of the OSM map for Mapsource has always been a bit complicated. That's why I made a new installer. It is based on the open source installer system NSIS.

Simply download OSM_SRTM_Germany.exe, save it in the same directory where gmapsupp.img from osm_srtm_germany_0911.zip is and execute it. You will be asked to enter a target directory. Into this directory the map tiles will be unpacked automatically using gmt.exe and the needed registry edits are being made. Done!
